| MISSION STATEMENT|
Curtain Call Theatre Northwest is a non-profit group working to build bridges between seniors and young adults and together promote theatre arts by bringing traditional, contemporary, modern plays and to encourage and enable diverse audiences to attend live theatre.
|Jonathan Reis ( Artistic Director )|
Jonathan founded the Curtain Call Theatre back in 1996. He also works professionally as an actor, his recent role was Mike in “I Do I Do” and is about to perform Sam Shepard’s “The Late Henry Moss” in Seattle in November. He recently toured with the American Shakespeare Center performing Claudius in “Hamlet”, Eageon, Balthazar and the policeman in “Comedy of Errors, he has also performed Angelo in “Measure for Measure” with the Kentucky Shakespeare Co. Other roles he has played are Ferdinand in “Love’s Labor’s Lost”, Launce in “Two Gentlemen of Verona”, and Orsino and Malvolio in “Twelfth Night”. He is also no stranger to musical theatre, where he has played Zach in “A Chorus Line” with Capital Playhouse, Cogsworth in “Beauty and the Beast”, Herbie in “Gypsy”, and Bellomy in “The Fantasticks” with the Musical Theatre of Georgia. He performed with the original Broadway cast of “Grand Hotel” with the American Musical Theatre Co. in San Jose. His movie credits include Father Fargozi in “The Evading” which was just released September of 2007. Other roles include Ed in “Promises Made”, Grady in “Pandora’s Clock”, Steven in “Pre Fontaine” and many more. Jonathan also works as a director and teaches drama. He graduated from Freehold Conservatory in Seattle.

Jon has been active with CCTB since 1996. He is in charge of the lighting and sound for each performance. He is responsible for all graphics work for the theatre group creating the programs, posters, tickets and other marketing resources. He created and launched our web site www.CCTBothell.org in 2012. When completed the site will feature posters, downloadable PDF versions of show programs and pictures for each of the 35 past performances. He also helps build sets and provides assistance in any other areas where needed.
